In alignment with the University’s future strategic direction and development initiatives, the Library will be upgrading to a next-generation library management system to further support research and academic development. Consequently, patron data (including: patron name, user account, user account code, patron type, affiliated faculty/department, and email address) will be transferred to and hosted on secure overseas cloud servers. The security and privacy of all personal data will be maintained in compliance with rigorous international protocols and standards in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001 (standards for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS)).
